It was less than two days ago that he was attacked by a man at a nightclub in Toronto, Canada.

And as Justin Bieber emerged for the first time since the incident he appeared to be sobered by the experience.

The 19-year-old was spotted arriving by private jet into Los Angeles after a long weekend in his native Canada, on Monday.

But missing from his attire was his now signature pharaoh medallion, indicating that the large gold piece of jewellery is most likely the $40,000 necklace the star is reported to have lost in his nightclub scuffle.

According to reports the pop star was charged by an angry man around 3am on Saturday at a Toronto hotspot.

His rival got a hold of his shirt but was prevented from tackling the star by quick acting bouncers, who grabbed the assailant and dragged him to the floor.
