Vin Diesel confirms Fast & Furious 7 will go ahead
Vin Diesel has confirmed that 'Fast & Furious 7', the movie actor Paul Walker was filming when he died last month, will go ahead.
In a post on his Facebook page, Diesel announced that Walker's last movie will be released on April 10, 2015
“There was a unique sense of completion, of pride we shared… in the film we were now completing… the magic captured… and, in just how far we’ve come,” he added.
Filming had been halted on the project, directed by James Wan, while it was being decided whether the film would continue production or be scrapped entirely in the wake of Walker's death in a car wreck in November.
But now it seems that they will start filming again, perhaps in January, while it was rumoured – but so far it remains very much a rumour – that Cody Walker, Paul Walker's stunt actor brother, could step in for some final scenes.
The film was previously set for release on July 11, 2014, before the tragic death of the star on November 30 in Valencia, California.
